While we have a brick & mortar store in the DFW area in which we sell Magic sealed product & singles, our online inventory & pricing is setup for mail order only.  If you are local and would like to order online, we'd be happy to ship to your address.

If necessary, we can be reached by phone, but please understand that this number is our regular retail store number and we have in-store customers to help or might need the phone line to run credit cards.

Comic Asylum Online Order Policy

We reserve the right to alter or cancel any order at our discretion, and to limit quantities of items to ensure availability for other customers.  Placing an order does not enter into a contract with the Comic Asylum until the order is accepted.  The Comic Asylum may choose to refuse the order, based on lack of inventory, pricing errors, or concerns about payment.  There is a minimum purchase amount of $10 plus the shipping cost to place an order.  The maximum amount of each card that can be ordered is 8 of each Rare, 12 of each Uncommon and 24 of each Common.  Please do not place multiple orders to bypass this maximum.  If you would like to email us to make a specific request on a particular, we'll hear you out & make a judgment call based on each situation.

Return Policy

Due to the constantly fluctuating prices in the collectible card singles market, we can not accept returns on singles unless there is an error on our part.  If you receive a card that is not in the condition advertised, please contact us at sales@comicasylum.com within two (2) days of receipt of your shipment in order to receive a replacement order.  If a replacement is not available, a refund for that portion of the order will be made upon receipt of the returned cards.  Damaged or heavily played cards are not returnable as a suitable replacement is not possible.

Unless we made a mistake on your order, you are responsible for return shipping, and the cost of the original shipping to you. If we did make a mistake, we will reimburse you for the shipping.

Grading Explanations
The quality of our cards are broken down into NM = Near Mint, LP = Light play, HP Heavy Play, D Damaged.  To view a description of our grading click here: Grading Guide

Payment Methods Accepted
We accept VISA/MC, and Discover Card.  We will also accept PayPal with a verified address & account, cashiers checks and money orders. When paying by credit card, your card will not be charged until the day that the order is actually shipped. If you are sending payment by PayPal our account is comicasylumstaff@gmail.com 

Please reference your order number when sending payment.  Please remember that if you do not have money in your account or a credit card tied to your account, there will be a several day e-check delay in processing.  Money orders and cashiers checks must be payable in US dollars and made payable to "Comic Asylum". Any payments sent that are not in US dollars will be returned.

Credit Card Policy
The Comic Asylum is unable to accept credit cards as payment for international orders.  Credit cards will be accepted for North America & Canada only.  This is required by our credit card provider, and not negotiable. 

Large first time orders orders will need to verify the billing address and card holder's information.  All credit card purchases must be mailed to the billing address of the card holder. It is important that the correct billing information be entered when placing an order as the address must match the card holder’s information or the order will be delayed.  All checkout transactions are conducted via secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption to protect your data.

 

Order & Shipment Information

Orders are typically shipped within 2 business days once the order has been confirmed.  (We are closed & do not ship on Mondays.) This does not apply to Pre-Sale items which will not ship until the actual release date of the new edition.  Our standard default domestic shipping method is through USPS First Class with delivery confirmation.  Additional options are available at checkout.  Orders over $200 are shipped Priority Mail with signature required. 

International Shipments
All Magic singles, and accessories may be purchased and mailed internationally.  As an  authorized Wizards of the Coast Internet Retailer, we cannot ship any factory sealed products outside of the United States of America.  This includes, but is not limited to booster boxes, booster packs, Intro Packs, Fat Packs, Starters, or Collector’s Boxes. 

International Orders typically take 7-12 business days. Due to Customs inspections there can be delay of up to 30 days on some international shipments.  Unless you choose International Express, or a Fedex Express service, your shipment is not track-able, and you agree to waive any recourse if the order is delayed, lost or damaged.  You may incur customs charges on shipments that you receive from us.  We fill out all customs forms truthfully.  This means that we mark “merchandise” as the type of item shipped and list the true value of the merchandise.  Please do not ask us to make exceptions to this policy, as we will not.

Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order please email us and enter "Cancel" along with your order number in the Subject Line of your email. Once an order has been placed we can not change it. If you wish to add or subtract cards and products the only option is to cancel the existing order and place a new one. Please email us to cancel the original before you place the new order. Combining orders is a change and we can not package them together.  Once an order has been charged, order cancellation is not an option.
